Kokodok And His Winged Daughter (Naskah Dalam English)

In a river there lived a greedy frog  called KOKODOK  who live alone, koko very happy to eat the larvae of mosquitoes and dragonflies.

One day came a dragonfly that had come to the river to laying their eggs at the root of the plants that are in the water. The water in the river was warm enough so that became a suitable place for his dragonfly larvae hatch. But strangely the place looks deserted no dragonflies flying over it.

Koko who saw a lot of larvae was very pleased "ha ha ha there are so many larvae here, just waiting for the 1 2 3 days the larvae will turn into delicious food, perfect yum yum yum"

every day Koko kept those larvae, waiting for the right time to eat it. After 3 days the larvae had been ready to eat.

"Yaaa ....!! Finally, they are perfect to eat, yum yum yum yum ".

In the midst of enjoying the fun food suddenly he stopped, he saw a larva that beautiful one, Koko did not have the heart to eat it.

"You are so beautiful ...." Koko pause a moment to thought  about what would he do to those beautiful larvae.

"Yay yaya I get .....! I know what must I do , I'll take care of you, I'm gonna make you as my daughter... ha ha ha I have a daughter and now your name is LARVANIA "

From day to day Koko keeping up larvania with care and affection, he was so happy, the longer time Larvania changed more beautiful. He realized that Larvania could not live in the water anymore so Koko accompanied Larvania to play on the mainland.

"Dad ... can I fly and play with my friends up there?"

"Yaaa of course you can, but you have to come back here, because this is your home"

"Okay dad I would go back"

wiiiiiiiing ....! Larvania flew beautifully. While his daughter went to play he dived into the river to search for food.

In the afternoon Kokodok always waiting faithfully for his daughter back, he sat while lifted his face to the sky waiting his eyesight catching larvania returning toward its self.

"daddy ....!" wow larvania was look so beatiful on the air with her golden wings

"My daughter has come home ho ho ho my beautiful daughter .. You do not come down quickly do you jib me?, you know that I do not have wings to fly like you "

Their life look so happy.

Every morning kokodok always deliver larvania who would go to saw her friends to play with her winged friends, and in the afternoon he was waiting for her daughter, always in the same place. In time, as time went Larvania grown up to an adult dragonfly she looks so beautiful with golden wings.

"Dad .. why you are different? "

"What do you mean my daughter?" Kokos face look serious that time

"My friends have parents who also have wings, they could fly together over the sky, in the middle of the rainbow, and through the mist"

"Oh it .... Mmm mmmm .. eh haha dad also could have the wings "koko not finished yet to talk but Larvania already slept.

On a warm morning

"Good morning daddy .."

"Oh yes yes good morning Larvania"

"I go first dad .. as usual "

as usual larvania go flying with her friends, and in the afternoon as usual koko wait her daughter in the same place. He put his face up to the sky till the sky changed to the dark he still did not see larvania. From day to day he waited faithfully for his daughter but larvania not go home. Now kokos life was back to normal life as before, he lived alone by himself, but koko had promised to Larvania that he would not eat the larvae on the roots of the vegetation around the river anymore, he allowed the larvae to grow and had the metamorphose into beautiful dragonflies.

And Koko home that are there at the side of the river looks so crowded with dragonflies who friendly and they became friends. From the hundreds of dragonflies suddenly he heard a voice "daddy ............" shouted larvania 

"Larvania my daughter .... is that u? .. you come back "

Larvania has come back again she did not need to fly away again to be able to play with her peers, because his father was make their home became the confortable nice place both for dragonflies even for frog.
